Breaking news - our first research publication

By Duncan Troup on Tuesday, May 16th, 2017 in Blog, Customer-centric Thinking, ITSM Tools, Research Partnerships, The Crowd, Transformation.

Today i fulfilled a long held dream of mine – that being publishing a research paper at a major conference.  I have presented a number of time at conferences organised by industry….but a peer review paper is a different proposition altogether.

It all started when i presented on Crowd Support at the 2016 ITSMF conference in Brisbane. Lifetime acheivement award winner Aileen Cater Steele approached me after my session to compliment Tingle Tree on our presentation. We hit it off immediately and 48 hours later had formed an informal research partnership across our mutal service management interest.

Fast forward 6 months and we have had a paper accepted at the 2017 International Conference on Information Resources Management in Santiago – our paper being on the democratisation of information. If you want to have a [light] read head to my linked in profile and enjoy!
